Feel Like Yourself Again... or Better!

Counseling is a very intimate process emotionally and psychologically.  Your therapist’s role is to help guide you through this process.  Your relationship will be purely professional.  Licensed Mental Health Practitioners are held to strict ethical guidelines and are prohibited from having any dual relationships with their clients.  Counselors must maintain objectivity and do not engage in social networking with clients.  The therapeutic process has a distinctive beginning, working stage, and a conclusion.  Closure is important for you to have an opportunity to review and internalize what you've gained.   You can always come back in when life happens;  it usually does.

Most emails and Texts are not secure  unless they are sent through a HIPPA compliant encrypted platform.  Please do not send clinical information unless it is encrypted or  faxed.   Yes, the mental health and medical community still fax.  : )

Telehealth

I am licensed to provide counseling / therapy to residents of Texas while they are physically in the geographic state of Texas.  I must also be physically in the state to provide counseling to Texas residents.  If you travel often I recommend you find a therapist  counselor who is licensed in Texas and the states you most often travel to.
